Since its founding in 1969, the company operates in the Greek market aiming to add value to its consumers, customers, employees and suppliers and also contribute substantially and effectively in the Greek economy and the local communities, where it operates.
Coca-Cola Tria Epsilon bottles, distributes and trades the Coca-Cola Company products, along with a range of its own products, such as the juices Amita and Frulite, the bottled water AVRA, Tsakiris potato snacks as well as products in cooperation with other companies, such as the ready to drink coffee illy cafe, the mixers Tuborg and Schweppes, the energy drink Monster and the tea Nestea.

The Company is seeking to recruit for a 10 month developmental assignment the role of Category Planner. The Category Planner has responsibility to uncover important shopper and customer insights to contribute to the development of category strategy and customer planning for major partners in cooperation with Key Customer Management and TRADE MARKETING teams for creating competitive advantage and delivery of sales growth.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
-Fully uses and exploits company systems and tools
-Analyses category and shopper trends and changing market conditions to contribute to the development of annual commercial plan
-Plays a key role in the Annual Business Planning (ABP) process and formulation of customer plans for key customer management team through category development plans to contribute to growth and market share
-Manages department priorities and processes to effectively support internal and external customers
-Provides continuous input to manager regarding vendor service and tools effectiveness and proposes improvements
-Performs root cause analysis, cost benefit analysis and impact estimation for alternative proposals and solutions for best practice
-Creates and updates monthly, quarterly and annual reports and shares for key stakeholders regarding key shopper trends.
-Prepares analysis for ad hoc requests from customers of responsibility
-Creates and delivers customer presentations to address incremental growth opportunities
-Develops specific “plannograms” and assorted proposals per customer and point of sales ensuring promotional and merchandising standards and company strategy are met successfully and with cost leadership.
-Develops and maintains productive relationships with regular customers to ensure all category projects are on track and problems resolved if they arise
-Provides trade and category expertise, recommendations and a detailed merchandising plan to Key Customer -Managers in new launches, shelving, pricing strategies
-Evaluates shelf placement and representation utilizing complex concepts and data integration to make impactful recommendations
-Identifies through analysis, promotes and supports innovative ideas and their implementation to increase business-to-business relationships and competitive advantage in the market to improve business results
-Creates a positive environment to promote innovation, solid teamwork, internal cross-functional alliances (locally, group) and positive relationships with key stakeholders and vendors
-Instills a mind-set of continuous improvement for individuals and team output through setting of KBIs, regular team meetings and Individual Development Plans
-Understands and encourages participation in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Health and Safety and environment management

Προσόντα

Essential Criteria:

  • 3 years of experience including Category Development or TRADE MARKETING roles
  • University Degree in Business Administration / Marketing
  • Strong planning, organising and process experience
  • Proven analysis and synthesis skills
  • Computer literate (Windows, MS Office)
  • Fluent English

Desirable Criteria:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience with SAP, Spaceman or Intactix
