1. Cultural Mediator (Farsi) – (Athens)
Essential:
– Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in Arabic.
– Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
– Understanding and sensitive to the needs of people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, including a strong commitment to confidentiality.
– Able to be flexible and deal with emotional stress, and to seek support when needed.
– Quick to respond to queries and referrals as and when needed and able to manage a varying workload.
– Computer literate (i.e. WORD, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer).
– Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people.
– Patient, adaptable, flexible, able to improvise and remain responsive and communicate clearly and effectively under pressure.
– Excellent planning and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities.
– Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in working in multicultural teams.

– At least 3 years of experience in Education/ Pedagogy (formal or non-formal), Pre-school, After-School and/or Psychosocial support for young children and/or adolescents.
– Experience in working with migrant/refugee children.
– Ability to carry-out activities for children on the move in transit.
– Ability to engage with children/ adolescents from different cultural backgrounds.
– Good communication skills, team player, and flexibility.
– Capacity to work in difficult, stressful and intensive contexts.
– Good knowledge of children’s/adolescent’s rights and related matters.
– Good oral and verbal communications skills.
– Knowledge of English and Arabic/Farsi will be an asset.
4. Child Friendly Space Animator – (Athens)
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
– At least three years of experience in Education (formal or non-formal), Pre-school, After-School and/or Psychosocial support for young children and/or adolescents.
